Winter is a magical time of year for me. Without their leaves, I love being able to see the structure of the trees and the hills and mountains behind them.
These 6"W X 8" H panels sit in a cement rock base that has a channel cut into them. Since this is handmade glass, no 2 panels are exactly the same.
I use several different techniques to achieve the realistic representation of the mountain forest. All of the components that go into making these pieces are glass. There is no paint. I only use sheet glass, glass rods (I make these custom colored rods myself), crushed glass and glass powders to create the pieces.
